Hi all!
First post for me, sorry if it sounds noobish or whatever...
Im on a Lenovo Thinkpad T410, with a docking tray, an external Dell keyboard (one of those cheap disposable ones.) and an old microsoft intellimouse.
I run 3.2.9-1-ARCH. I run Xorg (extra/xorg-server 1.11.4-1 (xorg)) with WMII (community/wmii 3.9.2-3) as my desktop manager. (I am an advanced beginner sort of, so if i have missed any information, please tell me harshly what i have missed.)
Since i got the new computer, my usb interfaces have this sort of microfreeze every 20 secs, for about 100ms. Then it works all right. Happens to both the mouse, and the keyboard (at the same time as far as iv been able to test), i havent been able to test a usb memory since its rather hard to monitor such things (theres no easy way as far as i know).
What could cause this? I dont find any information posted in the dmseg.log or any of the other logs contained in /var/log/ regarding any problems with the connection of the peripherals.
At first i thought it to be the docking-tray, since, well you know, dockingstations are mostly crap. But same thing happens when i unplug the computer and connect the peripherals directly to the usbports on the laptop. (both mice and keyboard has been working like charm on the old computer i have, a lenovo thinkpad T400.) I have also tried with different Keyboard/mouse combos, but to no avail.
I did a quick Google search and found nearly nothing (since most people probably call such micro-freezes other things, its hard to find all of them.) and i didnt really find anything related when i did a search on this forum. (could be im just bad with search engines.)
Anyone has any great tips or tricks i could try?
Thanks in Advance!
Edit1: Also, i have not installed any other drivers for the usb than the ones which come with the arch core install.
