The powersave script is: http://pastebin.com/uBMYy7FR
The unpowersave script is: http://pastebin.com/dfa8pUYQ

How's your battery life now?
Offline
On Arch:
With X: 2:15
Without X: 2:40
Without X, listen to music: 2:15
(On Ubuntu was: 3:00)
So I can save more energy, but don't know how

I use acpi, acpid, cpufrequtils.
Thats all I use. Are you using all the three?
If use Xfce and generally get a lot more battery than when using KDE.
Open your mind, use OpenSource!

Yes, I use them all: acpi, acpid, cpupower
And I use Fluxbox with Slim login manager.
Can You give me your acpid scripts?
I can only think I forgot to paste something to mine...

I haven't done any of the above suggestions other than setting the screen brightness to 1/3. This doubles my battery life from 2:00 to 4:00...
The backlight of my panel is supported by nvidiabl, so I just installed that package from the AUR and modprobe'd it.

I manage my backlight with acpid, it's correct, and saves energy.
Today I tested my battery life with X. It was 2 hours with watching movie. I think it's correct, so I think this topic is solved
Thanks for the help!
