Firefox updates - version 13 and up

Mozilla is pushing "silent updates" into future versions of Firefox. This can be disabled in the settings, but has anyone investigated how this might affect pacman's tracking of firefox if a user leaves it on?

Is this likely to be disabled on compile for the binaries in the repos?

Re: Firefox updates - version 13 and up

Unless you're running firefox as root, 'silent updates' won't be able to, I believe.
