Re: [solved] Today's upgrade trouble

Did you retry?

I've had a couple similar errors seemingly randomly.  When I rerun pacman it works fine the second time.  I suspect there are some sporadic connection failures/timeouts with the key server.

Re: [solved] Today's upgrade trouble

You can try

pacman -Sc

to remove the corrupted download. And retry

pacman -Syu

@hadrons123

Tried your suggestion (used pacman -Scc), changed mirrors, still it says package corrupted. Which one is corrupted?
Will try again tomorrow

Re: [solved] Today's upgrade trouble

Followed Karol's suggestion of using Pacman -Syu --debug, in another post. Everything works.
Thanks, Karol

Re: [solved] Today's upgrade trouble

Just to make it clear: 'pacman -Syu --debug' doesn't fix anything by itself, it just runs 'pacman -Syu' and prints tons of detailed info.
This way you can (hopefully) find out what exactly went wrong e.g. which package was corrupted.

When implemented, https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/28014 should make it a bit easier.
