After the upgrade of xorg-server and xf86-input-evdev, the scroll wheel (both horizontal and vertical) on the Logitech G9 becomes unresponsive and slow. The horizontal scrolling is also inverted. The issue is confirmed by other G9 users too (both 32 and 64 bit) however I can't confirm if it affects other products as well.
Downgrading to xorg-server-1.11.4-1 and xf86-input-evdev-2.6.0-4-i686 fixes the issue.

Same here with a G5 x86_64.
In fact, I had to downgrade
xf86-input-evdev
xorg-server
xorg-server-common
xorg-server-devel
xorg-server-xdmx
xorg-server-xephyr
xorg-server-xnest
Have you sent a bug report?

I'm abroad for work lately and I just don't have the time to fill a bug report or even to continue to follow the issue. I noticed that there was an upgrade xf86-input-evdev 2.7.0-2 and I didn't have the chance to test that either, but from what I've read on the input-evdev developer's page, it should solve the issue with the reverse horizontal scroll and I don't think it solves the responsivity issue, but hopefuly I'm wrong.
If anybody with the same issue has the time to fill a bug report, please, do (since I don't have the access to my desktop PC until I'm abroad and I don't use the G9 on my laptop).

The inverted horizontal scroll problem is solved
No idea about the responsivity issue, since I wasn't affected.
