[Solved] wireless does not work: no scan results

i am unable to get my wireless to work
it works perfectly in windows
i am unable to see any wireless networks in either networkmanager or wicd
the drivers for my card are loaded
wireless worked before in arch
i am using the broadcom-wl drivers from aur
i have arch 64bit installed
i tried uninstalling and reinstalling drivers it did not work

I think that in order for a scan to work right needs root priveledges because it needs access to the raw device, so try doing this as root, maybe that will help.

also wireless did work a few days back maybe its due to a kernel update i will try installing another kernel and try

I did not update anything or change anything
