Download size to get a standard KDE desktop system up and running?

How much needs to be downloaded from the repos to get a basic KDE desktop up and running from the 'core' install iso?

pacman will tell you when you try to install it. you can cancel the install before downloading.

Read the wiki to learn what do you need to install to get a basic KDE: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Kd … al_install

Edit: If you're using 'core' image, you will have to do many manual updates so it's highly recommended to use netinstall.
The core image has packages almost a year old, so I think all of them will have to updated + KDE installed.

There is really no standard size of minimal kde install.
If you already have xorg and some kde related apps (VLC or Qt based apps) installed its probably going to be less.
For me kdebase was less than 70 MB download, when I had a full gnome installed already.
