gnome3 volume level set to 0 after restart

I believe pulseaudio is involved, but I have no idea how to fix it.

There is an old post from this forum that suggests enabling alsa daemon will fix it, but there is no /etc/rc.d/alsa for me. But alsa is installed:

# pacman -Qs alsa
local/alsa-lib 1.0.25-1
    An alternative implementation of Linux sound support
local/alsa-plugins 1.0.25-1
    Extra alsa plugins
local/pulseaudio-alsa 2-1
    ALSA Configuration for PulseAudio

With me i install the pavucontrol and paprefs and this solved.
