weird gcc-lib gcc-multilib errors possible cause and solution.

You have 64-bit arch as multilib implies.  But your /etc/pacman.conf file has the multilib repository commented.  uncomment it in the same manner your other ones are.  Been having these weird errors for a long time myself.  And I suspect this is the cause and solution.  Seems simple enough.

Yeah, I think there was a point I was affected by that same thing.  And then something similar hit me again, but I found that the multilib repository was commented.  Something I never specifically did, myself.  However, I see according to the links, multilib was enabled during other user's issues.

As a side-note, sometimes the arch forums and google both come up with very little relevant information.  Like it did to me today.  I got one hit on gcc-multilib from google, and zero returns on arch forums.  Really.  Pathetically impossible but true.  Thanks for the additional link.

The forum search acts up at times, I use google almost exclusively.

site:bbs.archlinux.org gcc-multilib

returns quite a few hits (and you can tell google to show the results just from e.g. last year, last month etc.)
