Re: submarine - Search and download subtitles

@xorgx3: Could you give an example when you get .tmp files? Yes, it's only a console version. Maybe I'll create a GUI too if/when I'll have more time.
@Diaz: I'll look into it.

Re: submarine - Search and download subtitles

Be aware that there are problems installing many packages from AUR.

https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=138809

This started happening to me today with another unrelated package.

Re: submarine - Search and download subtitles

I successfully installed submarine with pacaur, so maybe there is a problem with yaourt or some other thing (see Mektub's post)?

Re: submarine - Search and download subtitles

Hmm, yesterday I downloaded first subtitles to mp4 movie and i get tmp file (subtitles are ok, but in this format).
Today I get subtitles in another strange format "mtl" (file xyz.mp4 too). And subtitles not match to my film. Appears too late.

I was trying doing it barebones with makepkg and failed with the same error.

Changing the line
source=("submarine-$pkgver.tar.gz::http://github.com/blazt/$pkgname/tarball/$pkgver")
to
source=("http://github.com/blazt/$pkgname/tarball/$pkgver")

Makes it work fine ^^

Hi, try cloning from here https://github.com/ok100/submarine until it's fixed in the main repo.

Re: submarine - Search and download subtitles

Submarine totally crashes when trying to get sub file. Since it completely hangs my PC I can't get any log messages. Nothing in systemd journal either. I do get some messages in terminal like; Connections succesful
anf then; libc.so.6 and libgio.so errors.

I reinstalled the dependencies; libgee, libsoup and libarchive. This occurs both with the git and "stable" version from AUR.

Please advise if more info is needed.
