Minimal X system for presentations

I want to make a minimal x sytem on Arch linux where I install only libreoffice impress, which I can use to make presentations only. I tried reading up about it and feel that I should install xorg-server and then openbox on which I can install libreoffice impress to make such a system. Can I install libreoffice impress on xorg-server alone and make such a system? The xorg wiki page says: "The default X environment is rather bare, and you will typically seek to install a window manager or a desktop environment to supplement X."  Thanks for your help.

I've run into some issues when trying to work w/o a window manager, I recommend installing and using one. You can use a very light one, like dwm.

You can try doing it this way:

However, as karol pointed, it may be safer to set up a very minimal WM (BareWM https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=31186 comes to mind) to avoid potential issues.
