Why is pycrypto for python2?

The pycrypto package in the repos is built for python2, however it can also be built for python3. Shouldn't the current package be moved to python2-pycrypto and the pycryto package be built for python3? I put a version for python3 in the AUR for now, but I'm just curious if there is a reason for it not being built for python3 or if this simply slipped past unnoticed. In either case, the package is below.
