can't change bootloader installation location on new snapshots of Arch

Hi, i'm trying to change the location of the bootloader (Grub or Syslinux) in the several recent snapshots of arch i686 core installs and i can't see how.

on older installs there used to be a phase where the installer would ask you to choose where to install the bootloader.

has it been removed?

Re: can't change bootloader installation location on new snapshots of Arch

for grub you just need to run grub-install with correct partition/disk name.

What happened to Arch's KISS? systemd sure is stupid but I must have missed the simple part ...

... and who is general Failure and why is he reading my harddisk?

I'm 95% sure it's possible on netinstalls, but that question is one of the last in AIF.

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky
