Two USB keyboards shown

Hi

I have laptop. I have bought Logitech USB keyboard (K120). Everything works fine but i have one question. When i do "xinput list" two Logitech USB keyboards show:

No, i don't have any issues. I am posting this thread just out of curiousity because it is weird to have two entries. I have added usb hook to but nothing changed. Well, at least it is just a "cosmetic" problem, i think smile

I have noticed that you have issued "xinput list" command in root session. When i do "xinput list" in root session i get:

No protocol specified
Unable to connect to X server

maybe you disabled X as root.

I also have two USB keyboards and two power buttons in xinput list, and also consider it a 'cosmetic' problem, still if anyone have an idea how to avoid it, I'd be glad to read smile

Probably one of the keyboards is for the normal keys and the other one for the special keys (like volume-keys and special keys on your mouse).

Ah, you may be right, as this keyboard indeed has some special fuctions bind to the second layer. WIll test and report it back when I'll have more time.

I don't know if you are talking about my keyboard but my USB keyboard is without special keys a.k.a. media keys.
