Hi folks
Archwiki is clear re setting up virtualbox.
Before I do so - Do I need dkms installed? From memory, dkms took care of VBox changes when kernel changed.
Or have I got it wrong?

No you don't need dkms. If you are running a custom kernel just intall 'virtualbox-source' and then run '/usr/bin/vboxbuild' to update the vbox modules with your current kernel. I think on a stock kernel the virtualbox-modules are taken care of by itself.

Got reply in about 30 mins - Fantastic.
Thanks KingX.
I had a few issues with VBox (and NVidia drivers) along the way when kernels were upgraded.
Just making sure this time.
Thanks again.

If you install dkms-virtualbox, your vbox module might get recompiled after every kernel upgrade automatically when you add "dkms" into your daemons-array of rc.conf, right?
