Hi
I have bought Logitech mouse for my laptop. "Xinput list" recognizes it as:
Logitech USB Optical Mouse It works great but in mouse settings i can not set mouse weel scroll lines. It just doesn't work. For example it works if i choose invert scroll but not if i set, let's say, mouse weel scroll for 7 lines. All the time it is set for 3 lines scrolling. But it works in firefox if i set in about:config.
My dmesg:
[ 7490.225988] usb 6-1: new low-speed USB device number 5 using uhci_hcd
[ 7490.408022] input: Logitech USB Optical Mouse as /devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1d.0/usb6/6-1/6-1:1.0/input/input13

If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put foundations under them.

Search for imwheel. I have just configured it for scrolling in Opera.

I have tried imwheel but for me it works only per application and not globaly. I have used ".*" sign in ~/.imwheelrc for global settings but it didn't worked. Any idea?

I've got it. My .imwheelrc:
".*"
None, Button4, Up, 8
None, Button5, Down, 8Only two issues. If i scroll, let's say, in libreoffice the cursor goes down too. The other issue is that if i have one window in focus i can't go scroll down/up the one that it is not in focus. That is annoying and don't know how to fix it. Any idea?
