Epiphany bookmarks problem

Has anyone else here noticed a little problem with Epiphany web browser.  I did a system upgrade the other day, and all of a sudden my bookmarks aren't working--at least from inside Epiphany itself.  I can drop down the menu, but I can't select anything.  The separate Epiphany bookmarks still work fine.  I had the exact same problem with Epiphany on my Slackware machine (after updating Dropline Gnome).  The fix there was a patch to GTK-2.6.9.

Are there any other workarounds, or should I wait for a GTK patch.

As always, thanks for the advice.

Re: Epiphany bookmarks problem

try exporting your bookmarks, deleting the .gnome2/epiphany directory, and then restarting epiph and importing the bookmarks again.
it might be a slight incompatability with the .config files or something...
dunno

Re: Epiphany bookmarks problem

Thanks for the lead, but still have the bookmarks problem.  Guess I'll wait for that GTK upgrade.  Bob

Thanks.  This worked fine for now.  I have functional bookmarks back in Epiphany.
