I wanted to patch my kopete installation, so I wanted to rebuild kopete using ABS.
However, while building the kdenetwork package (unpatched) the linker throws an error:
Linking CXX shared module ../../../lib/kopete_qq.so CMakeFiles/kopete_qq.dir/evautil.o: In function `Eva::Packet::encrypt(Eva::ByteArray const&, Eva::ByteArray const&)': evautil.cpp:(.text+0x161): warning: memset used with constant zero length parameter; this could be due to transposed parameters collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status make: *** [lib/kopete_qq.so] Error 1 make: *** [kopete/protocols/qq/CMakeFiles/kopete_qq.dir/all] Error 2 make: *** [all] Error 2
Unfortunately I don't know what to do. It used to work like a charm with previous releases. Any idea what the problem is?
As far as I understand the linker complains about undefined functions, but I don't guess that's the case in a stable release package?
