Aura desktop manager

Any chance this would hit AUR or a Repo sometime?

Is it even possible? It says it can be compiled for windows, so it should be even easier on Linux, right? Looks cool.

Give it a shot, and make a PKGBUILD if you have success.

I did have quite a laugh at this part

Cross platform code, should be able to build and run on Windows (and maybe eventually other platforms)

I'm not sure how that qualifies as cross platform.  It goes all the way across that one platform?

hahaha I read that "cross plataform but only Windows" comment and felt kinda insulted by it xD.
I don't know how to make a PKGBUILD and my compiling skills are fairly minimal xD, so I don't think I can...
But anyway, I was just asking whether it is something I may see in the future (you know, whether it's technically feasible), not *asking* for it.

OMG man... I'm not requesting the package, just asking out of curiosity whether it is even portable! I ask because one would assume things like Unity should be, but on following the discussion on it's Forum topic one realizes it will most likely never happen (at least in a clean -no changing your whole system- way). Can't one even ask, before being attacked with the usual DIY stuff? If I were *asking* I would understand, but I am (and were) not.
Besides compiling something no one has ever compiled wouldn't be the best choice of beginner's exercise, don't you think so?
