Hi guys,
I'm using the proprietary nvidia driver along with bumblebee on my Laptop. Now the nvidia upgrade requires nvidia-utils-295.40 as dependency. Ignoring the package does not work. I guess performing the upgrade will break my system, so I think the only possibility should be to install the package nvidia-bumblebee from AUR (which is out of date at the moment). Any other possibilities to use bumblebee along with the new proprietary nvidia driver?

dunno what bumblebee is... is your server synced? Use reflector.
reflector -c "United States" -a 1 -f 3 --sort rate --save /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist && cat /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist && sudo pacman-color -SyyuOffline
Have you upgraded your bumblebee? It seems it's up to date now.
nvidia-utils-bumblebee 295.40-1 https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=50025 provides nvidia-utils 295.40 so everything should be fine.

Sorry, I'm a newbie and not experienced with AUR upgrades. I upgraded the bumblebee packages and now everything works fine
