Intel Wireless only at 72.2 Mbps

Hello! I have a Dell L702x and I use the Intel Wireless-N 1030 WiFi card. Wireless networking works perfectly except the fact that it connects at maximum 72.2 Mbps (somehting that does not happen in Windows). I'm just curious, why is that happening? Is there some parameter in order to enable MIMO?

Have you measured the actual transfer speeds? In my experience, the reported connection rate is not always reliable on linux for N+ connections.

I have the same issue with my Dell Vostro v131 using the same wifi card. For me it helped to switch to the LTS kernel, maybe give it a try?
