OSS can not actually work

I have just installed Arch Linux x86_64. In another Arch Linux in my machine(I have two Arch Linux install in my machine, one is i686, another is x86_64), Alsa works very good. I have never run into any problems in i686. In x86_64, I am very sad to find that Alsa can work at times. When I reboot my laptop, it becomes dumb.
So I installed OSSv4 following the wiki. The page is here https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Open_Sound_System.
When I run osstest, the sound came out of the speaker. But, when I played a song in Audacious, it became dumb again...

Can anyone help me? Thanks.

Re: OSS can not actually work

Do you need to configure Audacious to use the OSS output plugin?

I think every sound application needs to be "told" to use OSS.
