Does it mean the package will be moved into extra?

Re: The Calligra suite

Can not build from calligra-git as far as create.freedesktop.org (calligra-git depends on create-svn) doesn't response.

Re: The Calligra suite

As far as I know create-svn isn't a dependency anymore, so you can remove it from the list.
I managed to build the git-version but krita fails to start.
Unless you really know what you're doin', do yourself a favor and wait 'till @bash has built the stable version.

Re: The Calligra suite

In case you're as unpatiently as me ;-) you could also try to replace just the download url and pkgver in the PKGBUILD made by @bash.
url = http://download.kde.org/stable/.....
pkgver = 2.4.0
Until now it seems to work. But building calligra takes so incredible long time here (x86_64 Core 2 Duo 1.6 Ghz)...

Thanks! I'm watching https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/29402 also. Summing up, I'll wait :-)

Re: The Calligra suite

Sorry for my absence.

I'm building calligra 2.4.0 right now. I'll push it in [testing] first. calligra-l10n packages will be available too!

EDIT: Packages are in [testing]!

Thank you Mr. Scarpino!  KDE on Arch is a very good experience, as good as any KDE distro out there -- I've searched and compared!  Thanks for your great work.

I've been running calligra-git and look forward to running your calligra package. I'll be compiling it from abs as soon as it hits the stable repository.  I'll bet there's at least one pkgrel bump before then big_smile

Re: The Calligra suite

Hi I just tried last calligra version from extra 2.4.1 but I can't run it.

$calligrawords
words(3527)/koffice (lib komain): "words" part.desktop not found.

words(3527)/koffice (lib komain): Run 'kde4-config --path services' to see which directories were searched, assuming kde startup had the same environment as your current shell.

words(3527)/koffice (lib komain): Check your installation (did you install Calligra in a different prefix than KDE, without adding the prefix to /etc/kderc ?)

path looks fine:

$ kde4-config --path services
/home/zajca/.kde4/share/kde4/services/:/usr/share/kde4/services/

How can I fix this? I'm not using KDE or KDM. Only PekWM

According to this:

http://www.calligra.org/news/calligra-2 … -released/

Arch Linux

Arch Linux provides Calligra packages in the [kde-unstable] repository.

I'm not sure I'll package 2.5beta1. If I've a bit of time, I'll do.
