Updated ISO

I was curious if a new ISO will be released anytime soon? Installations on new systems is starting to become a little more painful with the random manual interventions to fix package installations and also the massive amount of packages that a pacman -Syu produces now.

Would be greatful! smile

Re: Updated ISO

If you use the netinstall is a lot easier

Re: Updated ISO

You can try archboot and there is also the netinstall. You can also try the bleeding builds here. They are experimental and not official. http://releng.archlinux.org/isos/. The netinstalls require a special script to do pacman-key (i forget who posted this) but the cores will work better. But again they are experimental, the last one I tried, I could not launch /arch/setup because of missing files. Your best bet is archboot.

Re: Updated ISO

You could also build your own iso: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Archiso
