Firefox vs. other browsers

Hi,

I've tried a bunch of different browsers, and for some reason, firefox is much much faster than the rest. Chromium and Opera, etc. time out almost every time I want to visit a website, and when I do get a site to load, it does so very slowly. Firefox, however, does not have this problem.

Anyways I was wondering how to troubleshoot this issue, as I don't want to be stuck with firefox for the rest of my life.

Thanks,
Garrett

I've never experinced this. All browsers seems fast to me. There is no discernable difference.

Re: Firefox vs. other browsers

I had memory issue with chromium. Usually firefox was famous with its memory leak, but chromium consumed 3 or 4 times more memory than firefox and was very slow in my experience when many tabs opened.

But when just 3 or 4 tabs were opened, it was very fast.
