No sound whatsoever on VC 37GV motherboard.

Hey, I have tried with multiple different methods to get my sound working again. I have made sure all of the sound was unmuted from ALSA, I made sure my profile had audio privileges, and I made sure that it was set to my default soundcard (The only one in the motherboard). Is there any other methods I can try before I rule everything out and declare that my soundcard is dead? Thanks! smile

https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Open_Sound_System. A completely different way of getting sound. It supports some cards that ALSA doesn't support and vice versa, so it makes sense to use it before buying a new sound card.
