Keep text in clipboard after closing browser

Hi,

is there any way to keep the copied text in my clipboard (secondary) after closing the application which it was copied from?

I'm using Awesome as WM, no DE.

Thanks

Re: Keep text in clipboard after closing browser

You need a clipboard manager.  This: list while not all-inclusive and coming from Ubuntu - you should be able to find Arch packages - would be a good start.

Thanks, I'll best set my URxvt.copyCommand to Parcellite as well?

You don't need to do it. With Parcellite you can synchronize clipboards and the content will be available for further use (that's my daily most often used combo + Vim).
