Since upgrading to gnome-shell 3.4 I see glitches on my screen all over the time. Not quite sure if it's really related to the upgrade of gnome-shell or maybe also for other packages.
This is annoying, especially when working in the terminal when suddenly text is not readable anymore.

I'm not sure what the problem is.
You could try using the prebuilt radeon driver packages, that I found out by reading this section of the wiki recently: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ra … MS_enabled (the spiralinear server)
I think the package is called "xf86-video-ati-git".

Looks like cairo-1.12.0 related stuff.
xorg-server-1.12.1-2 and xf86-video-ati 6.14.4-4 that are currently in [testing] should fix it.
