[Solved] Text not appearing with certain fonts.

I've got a bit of a strange issue. With certain fonts, no text is visible in some cases. The issue doesn't appear with Droid Sans Mono, but does appear with Droid Sans. As far as I can tell, none of my monospace fonts are affected. I've tried reinstalling my graphics drivers (nouveau), but this hasn't fixed the issue. Any ideas?

EDIT: Could this be something lacking from xorg.conf? I don't use one, and I feel like I remember something being mentioned in a recent update.

Try defining Xft settings (AA, dpi,...) in your ~/.Xresources (if you haven't already).

Setting my sub-pixel order to RGB fixed it. Bizarre.
