questions about packages and network modes

is there a way to install a legacy version of firefox if I currently have the newest installed without removing the newest version?
also how would i set my intel 3965abg wireless card into mointor or promiscuous mode to test some software on my network?

Re: questions about packages and network modes

newarch2011, please use a more informative title!

From the How to Post section of our forum etiquette:

Choose clear, informative subjects. This is more likely to elicit response from experienced users who have knowledge about that particular topic. It also makes the topic easy to reference and find in forum searches by future users with similar problems. Further, avoid extraneous phrases such as [HELP!], [URGENT], etc.

This thread will most likely get dustbinned if you don't.

To know or not to know ...
... the questions remain forever.

You can create a PKGBUILD and build it yourself (or simply use one in the AUR if the version you're looking for is available).
