Intermittent connectivity failure

I recently returned to Arch (feels good to be home), and am having some problems when using WiFi. Some exceptionally bizarre and inconsistent problems.

To start with, I'd lose the ability to access the Internet from any command line application, but Chromium would continue nicely. That hasn't happened in a while, but then certain websites - or even parts of websites - would refuse to load (Hotmail and some Facebook profiles are currently inaccessible to me). Sometimes YouTube videos refuse to play.

These problems don't always happen at the same time, or in the same way, and I am totally lost where to even begin to try and sort it out. If anyone has any ideas, I'd really appreciate them. If there are any config files or command outputs that will help to see, let me know.

I'm running on a Toshiba NB500, using the rtlwifi driver.

Thanks.
