HI all:

I've installed vte3
in this package there's vte2_90
I use it as a lightweight terminal emmulator(since xterm kind of sucks)

But how to configure its fonts etc ?

Re: How to configure vte

Why do you want to use vte3? This is a fine plugin for use by other virtual terminals like xfce's and (I think) terminator. On its own it is not much of an emulator and there is really very little that can be done to make it useful. If you want to use this base then I recommend using one of the bigger emulators that use it as a base. Why do you say that xterm sucks, though it is minimal at first its flexibility and customization options are incredible and it can be quite good if properly configured. Or better yet, why not use urxvt, it is what I use and IMHO it is by far the best combination of flexible and efficient that I have seen. For configuring xterm or urxvt just look on the wiki or wo a web search as there are hundreds of sites that have information on this.
