[solved] brother printer DCP115c doesn't work with or without usblp

I installed brother-mfc210c-cupswrapper and brother-mfc210c-lpr from AUR and tried to make the printer work according to this recommendation: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php … 59#p945459

But no matter if usblp is loaded or not, no matter if I blacklist it or use

install usblp /bin/false

in /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf (according to this article https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Brother_MFC-420CN), the printer is always listed in CUPS under

usb:/dev/usb/lp0

I also deleted the printer and tried to reinstall it via CUPS, but it's not listed under "local printers".

I really don't know what to try anymore. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Found solution on German board! Replacing cups with cups-usblp and not blacklist usblp anymore. Voilà!
