[Solved] Are subjective posts allowed in the wiki?

I just got an account for the wiki, and was looking for stuff to fix. I was concentrating on spelling and grammar mostly, because I'm still an Arch newbie. Anyway, I ran across this:
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/HP … n_dv6420la
After reading it, it seems to be pretty subjective, though informative article, at least if you happen to be using the author's laptop. Is this type of article acceptable, or does it need to be clarified/fixed and made more general?

Any addition of info that'll be helpfull for people using the same software (or laptop in this case) should be fine to add (better than nothing). If anyone has something to add/correct they can always do it.

That being said, the specific article you linked is indeed fairly subjective (and probably outdated by now).

Subjective or not, it's old and not applicable today. I mean, take a new Arch iso and install it today and you would encounter a whole new set of problems, or not. He is referring to kernel 2.6.23 for example. Only my five cents ...

The wiki has a style guide, in particular https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/He … e_register discourages from writing subjectively or in first person in general.

Thanks. I probably should have looked a little harder before posting here.
