[Solved] Missing chars after upgrade

Hi
After upgrade (pacman -Syuf last sunday) I have strange problem with chars in gtk application. It seems that random letters (words and lines) are replaced by spaces.  Qt and wine programs work fine.
Examples (problem occurs also in application menus, chart names in web browser (midori, chromium) - ussually missed a few chars):

ls command in roxterm:
roxterm

thunar (the same in pcmanfm)
thunar

I've reinstalled everything with gtk in name - no effect.
Any ideas?

Re: [Solved] Missing chars after upgrade

Welcome to the forums.

Don't ever use the -f flag with pacman when upgrading; it's bound to break stuff sooner or later. As for the actual issue, have you checked if it's not just your gtk theme that's incompatible with gtk3.4 (aka try using another theme)?

Re: [Solved] Missing chars after upgrade

Thanks for advice!
New theme and new theme's font has helped - almost all menus are displayed properly. But there is still the same problem with roxterm, thunar (altough it started to show more files names) and libre office (writer is useless).
Thanks again
