JMicron Memory Stick card reader do not recognize a card

I have a problem with a JMicron card reader in my HP 4530s. I loaded jmb38x_ms module and when I put the card in, LED in a card flashes once but nothing happens in Arch. Dmesg doesn't show anything and no new devices appear in /dev. Even booting the system with card inserted doesn't solve the problem. Here's mine lspci (only relevant lines)

Re: JMicron Memory Stick card reader do not recognize a card

What type of card are we talking about here?  I use the SD card reader on my system daily.  Works like a charm.
I have never gone near a Sony stick.  Cannot help you there.
XD cards had not been enabled in the Arch build of the kernel.  I had been helping someone with this and they filed this bug report  I believe the kernel module should not be enabled, but you might need to install the ssfdc module (check the end of the thread on that bug report)

Re: JMicron Memory Stick card reader do not recognize a card

It's Memory Stick 128MB card. I haven't tried a SD card, nor a XD. I think it should SD work as SD card reader is recognized as SD Host Controller.
