Epson Stylus SX218 not found by cups

Hello, I have a problem with my printer. I have tried to get the printer working for several hours now, but I am making no progress...

I tried:

-Installing cups with help from the wiki
-installing the epson-inkjet-printer-workforce-320-sx218 1.0.0-6> from the AUR
-blacklisted and unblacklistet the usblp

dmesg gives me the following output with unblacklistet usblp

[ 1385.132105] usb 1-1.5: USB disconnect, device number 6
[ 1388.646398] usb 1-1.5: new high-speed USB device number 7 using ehci_hcd
[ 1388.743576] scsi10 : usb-storage 1-1.5:1.2
[ 1389.748446] scsi 10:0:0:0: Direct-Access EPSON Stylus Storage 1.00 PQ: 0 ANSI: 2

I have read a lot of posts about problems with other epson printers or problems with cups, but I couldn't find a solution to my problem
And i changed some configuration and reinstalled all packages, but no succes sad

I had this printer running with Ubuntu 11.10 without any problem

edit:

I also tried to install Hal but I got an error with glib.

edit 2:

Could it be that the printer (scaner printer comby model) is only recognized as scanner?

ls -ltr /dev/bus/usb/001/010 gives following output:

l
s -ltr /dev/bus/usb/001/010
crw-rw-r--+ 1 root scanner 189, 9 27. Apr 00:04 /dev/bus/usb/001/010
