Good program to align printer margins?

I'm having trouble aligning margins on my Epson Stylus 1520 (old parallel port A3 printer!). The printer prints fine, the margins are just off. I tried using the alignmargins script provided by http://www.linuxfoundation.org/collabor … umentation but find the numbers confusing. As yet, changing the numbers has only resulted in far worse results.

Does anyone know another program that's easier to use to set margins? Or better yet, a clearer explanation of the numbers alignmargins uses (preferably with diagrams)?
