[Solved] Boot problem after update
After updating my Archlinux (64bit) installation and rebooting it a few minutes ago
I have encountered the following problem. The boot process is hanging after
activation of logical volumes. Here are the boot messages:
…
Booting the kernel.
:: Staring udevd...
done.
:: Running Hook [udev]
:: Triggering uevents…done.
:: Running Hook [lvm2]
Activating logical volumes…
15 logical volume(s) in volume group "system" now activeI have also tried the fallback kernel. The same problem!
What is going wrong?

Couple of other posts with the same issue today: chroot in and rebuild your initramfs...

I thought I was.
The first clause in the sentence tells you that you can search the boards for the answer; the second provides the high-level solution.
