[SOLVED] Thunar slow to start under xfce 4.10

Hi,
Today my xfce updated to 4.10 and Thunar was slow to start. So I opened up the smb-browse.mount file expecting to see automount set to true but in fact it was still on false. So it looks like the usual trick to fix slow startup of Thunar is not working for me.

I am certain that gvfs is still the issue though because if you open a terminal first and do

#gvfs-ls network:

there is a delay of similar length and any attempt to start thunar is instant

Found a work around by setting AutoMount=false in /usr/share/gvfs/mounts/network.mount
