The message is:  /usr/lib/node_modules/npm/node_modules/node-gyp/LICENSE exists in filesystem

Common issue. Extensively documented on both these forums and the wiki.

Do a quick search for "exists in filesystem" and you'll get plenty of results with an explanation of what it means and how to fix it.

Well, I know what it means and how to work around it, but what it means to me is that there's an error with the package, depending on whether the package is intended to include npm or not.
