Mplayer plugin

Hi! I need to know where's the mplayer-plugin configuration file, because I want to enable the Mini skin gui for the Quicktime trailers, and maybe some other tweakings. Here in this page:

http://mplayerplug-in.sourceforge.net/howto.html

they say it is mplayerplug-in.conf but I can't find it.

Re: Mplayer plugin

You should be able to create your own and put it in your $HOME directory - I think the howto even mentions this.

Re: Mplayer plugin

When I use it the movies don't stream, no matter what options I pass. Here it is, tell me what I could do:

debug=1
logfile=/home/luisqr/.mplayer/mplugin.log
cachesize=0
vo=xv
ao=oss
noembed=0
#fileonly-embed=[0|1]
use-gui=mini
prefer-aspect=1
novop=0
rtsp-use-tcp=0
#vopopt=[mplayer vop options]
#display=[display name]
download=1
dload-dir=/home/luisqr/.mplayer/movies
keep-download=1
use-mimetypes=1
enable-real=0
enable-wm=1
enable-qt=1
enable-mpeg=1

And here's the debug, it's giving this all the time:

NewStream Requested
NP_NORMAL
in WriteReady. stream->url: http://a772.g.akamai.net/5/772/51/0491b … sr_240.mov
in WriteReady, state = 110
Setting of This->forced = 0
in Write. stream->url: http://a772.g.akamai.net/5/772/51/0491b … sr_240.mov
in Write, state = 110
in destroy stream

Re: Mplayer plugin

Re: Mplayer plugin

Yep. Anyway, I noticed it was the gui. I have to disable it and use the noembed option if I want to have some control over the movie.
