pacman refuses to upgrade ?

Evening everyone I had to reinstall arch and everything after I did something stupid.
And after I got everything installed and the desktop on and everything.
Then I tried to upgrade the system with sudo pacman -Syu so I can install my main dekstop.
And it says everything s installed is up the date and I know its not because I upgraded it this morning.
I checked my mirrorlist its all correct checked did it 3times.
I also reinstalled arch 2times and get the same pacman error is it just me or something ?
Any help is greatly appreciated !

Oh and heres another error from it:
[legion@arch ~]$ sudo pacman -Syu
:: Synchronizing package databases...
error: failed retrieving file 'core.db' from archlinux.supsec.org : Failed connect to archlinux.supsec.org:21; Bad file descriptor
error: failed retrieving file 'core.db' from archlinux.supsec.org : The requested URL returned error: 504
core is up to date
extra is up to date
community is up to date
:: Starting full system upgrade...
there is nothing to do

Re: pacman refuses to upgrade ?

Did you search the wiki and forums?
Have you tried

pacman -Syy

Have you tried using a different mirror?

Please use the code tags when you're posting errors and the like, it makes them easier to read.
