Bumblebee and Linux-CK conflict.

Hello,

Every time their is a Linux-ck upgrade, it turns on discrete graphic card controlled via Bumblebee/Nvidia Optimus. I use linux-ck repo.

sudo bumblebeed start
FATAL: Module bbswitch not found.
[ERROR]Module bbswitch could not be loaded (timeout?)
[WARN]No switching method available. The dedicated card will always be on.
[ERROR]Daemon already running, pid 703

BBSwitch is installed but module can't be loaded. Re-installing and rebooting BBSwitch fixes the problem.

Thanks.

Re: Bumblebee and Linux-CK conflict.

I could be wrong--I only tried playing with Bumblebee for a minute last weekend, and haven't tried seriously setting it up--but I think you need to use the nvidia-bumblebee package from the AUR, as nvidia-ck relies on the nvidia-utils package from the [extra] repo (which isn't compatible with Bumblebee).

Re: Bumblebee and Linux-CK conflict.

I am using nvidia-utils-bumblebee and instead of nvidia I installed nvidia-ck-corex from repo-ck. Graysky who maintains repo-ck says nvidia-ck-corex should have no problem with bumblebee.

@donniezazen

Are you using systemd? I've got the same issue on mainline kernel with systemd: dkms module is build, but not installed, after manual install everything is ok.
