So, for example, during a system upgrade (while running pacman -Syu), pacman may print something like this:
gnome-control-cente... 2.7 MiB 127K/s 00:21 [######################] 100%
gnome-icon-theme-ex... 762.0 KiB 165K/s 00:05 [######################] 100%
gcr-3.4.1-1-x86_64 753.4 KiB 97.0K/s 00:08 [######################] 100%
gnome-keyring-3.4.1... 687.3 KiB 130K/s 00:05 [######################] 100%
gnome-screensaver-3... 207.8 KiB 98.3K/s 00:02 [######################] 100%
mutter-3.4.1-2-x86_64 878.8 KiB 126K/s 00:07 [######################] 100%
libtracker-sparql-0... 273.0 KiB 98.8K/s 00:03 [######################] 100%
nautilus-3.4.1-2-x86_64 2.2 MiB 135K/s 00:16 [########### - - - - - - - - - - -] 50%
Is there a way (for example, an option) for pacman to print the total progress of the downloads, overall?
For example, something like this:
Total Progress 200.2 MiB 135K/s 25:16 [########### - - - - - - - - - - -] 50%
???
Perhaps someone can point me in the direction of a way to figure this out, would it be in "info pacman" ? Guess I could check there first... Simple question though, eh?

Look in the /etc/pacman.conf file for hints. ![]()
