[SOLVED] xfce4 all shutdown icons all grey apart from logout

Hi and thanks for reading,

Just did an update today and now only logout is available from shutdown

my .initrc contains

exec ck-launch-session dbus-launch --exit-with-session startxfce4

which I think is correct

I noticed that slim got an update today and wondered if it may be something to do with that

I have

exec dbus-launch --exit-with-session startxfce4

and it works

removing ck-launch-session from the command line worked, thank you.

i never really understood why I needed it anyway
