Hey guys, this is my first post but I'm posting it to help
I've made a tutorial for you minecrafters who want to set up a bukkit server on your ArchLinux system.

^ That's the link.
I would also like to add, alot of people have trouble launching MInecraft in the first place, using the JRE that comes with openJDK6 works a charm with minecraft or if you get Minecraft from the repository, the required JRE comes with it.

JDK 7 IMO is what they should use. Makes it easier as a dev.

But will Minecraft even launch with that? I have the Java 7 JRE and it wouldn't even get to the mojang screen, the only way I could get it to launch was with openJDK6.

I have JDK 7.4 installed, and at first had problems running minecraft, the problem, minecraft is supplied with an older LWJGL, and will not work with Java 7. After following this wiki http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Tutor … date_LWJGL, and replacing the files as instructed to the 2.8.3 versions, I was then able to start Minecraft, same thing with a game called 'Spiral Knights'.
