UMOUNT freezes!

I found this quite strange. Ever since I updated filesystem package, everytime I unmount my Windows drive, the entire PC freezes.

Anyone experiencing similar problems?

Before I updated the filesystem package, I didn't have any problem mounting and unmounting my windows drive though.

Could this be a bug?

There was  a kernel bug that caused a freeze when unmounting ntfs drive.  Was your kernel also upgraded?  If so, read this

thanks for the info. I guess we need to wait for the fix huh?

I'm using kernel 2.6-12 by the way.
