Hello people!
I`m new to Arch, i installed it a while ago on my desktop PC and it works like a charm, so i want now to install it on my laptop.
I`m wondering if any of you (hopefully) has installed it on a similar laptop, and if he/she can to give me some heads-up before i start the install.
This is my system info:
Product Dell Inspiron N5110
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2450M CPU @ 2.50GHz
Total Physical Memory 6.00 GB
Video Card - Intel(R) HD Graphics 3000
Video Card - GeForce GT 525M
Network Card - Intel(R) Centrino(R) Wireless-N 1030
Mouse - Dell Touchpad
I really appreciate any info, or suggestions regarding this.
Thanks in advance.

The process is very much the same as your desktop install. Just follow the Beginner's Guide and you should be fine. There are, however, a few things you may want to consider (and this applies to laptops in general, not to any specific model): https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Laptop
If it comes with an SSD, you should also read the wiki article on SSD's: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/SSD
I have made a personal commitment not to reply in topics that start with a lowercase letter. Proper grammar and punctuation is a sign of respect, and if you do not show any, you will NOT receive any help (at least not from me).

Thanks for your reply!
However i want to ask if there are any issues with the power manager, and with my video cards.
I heard bumblebee does a great job by shutting down nvidia card when it`s not used, by that reducing the extra power consumption.
Is it ok if i install xf86-video-intel + nvidia_bumblebee ?

Have a look at the Bumblebee wiki page. It should answer most of your questions and give you and idea of how to install everything.

Rather than expecting someone here to tell you what to do, just install it and see.
Worst case, it doesn't work. But looking at the specs, it will probably be straightforward. In any event, only you will know, so looking for handholding here is pointless...

Ok thanks a lot for the info.
I have little time for installing and configuring the system, i just wanted to know if it`s straightforward or not, and to what details i should i pay attention.
Handhold doesn`t suit my requests.

Just to point out that "GeForce GT 525M" is OEM. However if you do not need it "bbswitch" is all you need

Great success!
I managed to get my laptop installed with Arch and it went straightforward as jasonwryan said.
I installed bumblebee in case i need my secondary video card, and bbswitch to keep it off when i don`t use it.
Also my battery goes up to ~3 hrs so it`s excellent.
Thank you guys for the tips!
