Problem With my Fonts/naming Folders? [SOLVED]

I am trying to get my arch install how I want it, but I have been having this problem dealing with fones or naming the folders.

I was downlaoding some music (legally, of course) and I went to make a folder in my home directory called El Ten Eleven. I tried in thunar first and when I went to type it into the dialogue box I got to "El T".... and when I typed the 'e' everything I had typed went blank. I typed the rest of the name and pressed ok, but it didnt create anything.

Next I tried via the terminal and typed

mkdir El\ Ten\ Eleven

and It worked, but the folder name is blank in Thunar. It does, however show up in the terminal when I run ls.

Also when I open a right click menu some entries, such as "select" are blank, or show only the first letter.

I have installed many fonts in order to make this work. What should I do? I really want to use arch, but If I cant fix this, I will have to swith to something else.

Here is an image of both problems. As that blank space is calles "El Ten Eleven"

Also the on the menu it just says "S", and I think it should say "Select".

Re: Problem With my Fonts/naming Folders? [SOLVED]

It seems that is may be a problem with Cairo, but how do I downgrade?
This is a fresh install, so I have no cache to search through.

I fixed it. It is a bug with cairo.
If anyone esle is having this problem, which may be related to using nouveau and cairo, you need to downgrade cairo from 1.12.2-1 to something lower I used 1.10.

Can a mod mark this as solved?

You mark it as solved yourself.  Click "edit" in the lower right corner of your initial post and change the title.

Also, for future reference, you should use the edit button to add info rather than making repeated posts.
